Coaches In Training (CIT) Program

For baseball players 13 and older: If you’re a camper who loved our camp and have recently aged out of it or if you’re a young teenager looking for an opportunity to improve your leadership skills, the CIT program could be for you.  Our CIT program allows you to be a camper again but this time with an enhanced role.  You still get to participate in all camp activities like a regular camper.  However, CITs will also work with the Camp Director and staff on team building, activity planning, role modeling, problem-solving and assisting with supervision.  It’s the best of both worlds for young teenagers looking for a fun camp experience as well as an increased leadership role. 

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to attend every week of camp?

No.  We ask that CITs commit to 2 weeks of camp.  Their schedule will be worked out with the camp director.

What is the cost of the CIT program?

The cost of each week is $150.

Is the CIT program for softball camps too?

Yes, just be sure to fill out the softball application below!

Does the CIT program guarantee me a camp counselor job after the program?

While we can’t guarantee you a position on the camp staff, the program will help prepare you for the position of junior counselor.  If you are interested in working our camps as a counselor your participation in the CIT program will be highly regarded.

To Apply for the CIT Program

Players who are interested in the CIT program, should complete the application form below.  Once you apply, our camp director will setup an interview and finally, if accepted, you’ll complete a one time camp orientation.  It’s as easy as that!  There are limited spots for CIT candidates and are filled by qualified candidates on a first-come, first serve basis.
